I STILL cannot get over the fact that I frequently walk right by the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. I love several parts of town (Brera, Navigli, etc), but this part is still my favorite despite there being a few more tourists. I think it has something to do with the memories of the time I visited in November - arguably the happiest time of my life! When I go there, it hits me again that I actually am in Milan. It's a easy walk from my apartment so I made the pilgrimage a couple times this week after language school to try to unknot my brain.
